Pittsburgh International Airport is taking a beating along with the entire air travel industry as it deals with the global COVID-19 outbreak, but Allegheny County Airport Authority CEO Christina Cassotis said Friday the airport authority is in pandemic response mode now and will survive when the industry recovers.

“We are prepared to weather this for as long as it takes,” Cassotis said in a virtual meeting of the Allegheny County Airport Authority on Friday morning.
