‘It’s gone fast’: $1.4 billion Pittsburgh International Airport modernization is nearly halfway finished

Once nothing more than a sketch on a dinner napkin, Pittsburgh International Airport’s $1.4 billion modernization is rolling down the runway toward completion.

With a topping out ceremony Thursday, the new landside terminal is just over 40% finished, with much of the steel structure in place and work inside to start by the end of the year.
