U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg discussed the latest improvements in autonomous driving technology with researchers at Carnegie Mellon University during a tour of Pittsburgh on Friday to examine progress on the Biden administration’s infrastructure investments.
Mr. Buttigieg’s visit likely marked the last of his many stops here during his tenure. Last January, he traveled to Pittsburgh to highlight a $142.3 million federal grant to buoy infrastructure improvements in the region.
