Visitors to Pennsylvania’s Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) will soon enjoy an entirely overhauled experience as the airport nears completion of a new $1.5 billion terminal. The ambitious project will dramatically increase the airport’s efficiency and include a number of new benefits for passengers.

Airport officials confirmed this week that the new terminal is 80% complete and on track to debut this fall. The transformation represents the next chapter for the airport, which will focus on providing a seamless experience for passengers in an era that prioritizes point-to-point flying.
