Pittsburgh International Airport’s new $1.5 billion terminal will soon be lit at night.

The project, which will replace the landside terminal and add a parking garage, has long been visible to visitors to the airport, whether they come in by plane or by car. But the power will soon be connected to the new terminal, which will allow it to be visible at night. Allegheny County Airport Authority CEO Christina Cassotis said the terminal project is about 68% completed. It’s scheduled to be finished next year and open at an as-yet-undisclosed date.
