Vendor Opportunities

There are a number of opportunities for local and regional vendors, product manufacturers and service providers to help support the Terminal Modernization Program (TMP) at Pittsburgh International Airport.

Vendor Product Pitch Fair

Our first-ever Vendor Product Pitch Fair held August 27, 2019 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center was a great success! Thanks to the 130 companies who attended to pitch their products for possible use in the new terminal and multi-modal complex.

Commitment to Sustainable Construction and Operation

Pittsburgh International Airport is committed to increasing environmental sustainability through the Terminal Modernization Program. For construction and operation of the new terminal and multi-modal complex, the program design team aims to comply with the LEED Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) credit for building materials, while also seeking reductions in energy, emissions, water, and waste.

Prospective vendors are encouraged to present products, materials, and services that comply with third-party verified sustainability criteria or reporting standards, are regionally sourced (extracted, manufactured, or purchased), and/or that can demonstrate a lesser or reduced effect on human health and the environment when compared with competing products and services that serve the same purpose.

Design Development Update

At the annual State of the Airport event on March 3, the Allegheny County Airport Authority unveiled its five-year ‘Smart Plan Forward’ and the latest updates for the Terminal Modernization Program.
