Since the Terminal Modernization Program (TMP) was announced in 2017, there have been a number of ways for businesses to get involved. Below is a list of past opportunities and team selections conducted as part of the program along with links to presentations and other informational materials.

Update: Bond Trustee Services RFP

In September, 2019 the Allegheny County Airport Authority selected the Bank of New York Mellon Trust Company, N.A. to provide Bond Trustee Services for General Airport Revenue Bonds (GARB) and other types of debt that may be issued by the Authority, operator of Pittsburgh International Airport.

Update: Bond Underwriting Services RFP

In May, 2019 the Allegheny County Airport Authority selected Citi Group/PNC-Sr. Manager-Syndicate of Co-Managers to provide Bond Underwriting Services.

Industry Day #4 and Small Business Fair

Thanks to all who attended Industry Day #4 and Airport Small Business Fair on April 30 at the Hyatt Regency. We were pleased to meet so many people interested in the Terminal Modernization Program and in doing business with the Airport Authority to improve our airports for the future.

Update: Construction Management Team Selection

At the April 26, 2019 Allegheny County Airport Authority Board Meeting, PJ Dick/Hunt was selected as the Terminal Construction Management Team and Turner Construction Company was selected for the Landside Construction Management Team.

Update: Multi-Modal Complex Architecture & Engineering Team Selection

At the January 18, 2019 Allegheny County Airport Authority Board Meeting, Michael Baker International was selected as the Multi-Modal Complex Architecture & Engineering Team. They will work on the Multi-Modal Complex including a multi-use parking garage, ground transportation center, rental car facilities, parking lots, and access roads.

Update: Program Management Team Selection

Jacobs Project Management was selected as the Program Management Team for the TMP at the Airport Authority Board Meeting on June 21, 2018.

Update: Gensler and HDR announced as Architecture & Engineering Firm

On July 20, 2018, following months of research, technical and creative presentations, interviews and evaluations, the Allegheny County Airport Authority announced Gensler, headquartered in San Francisco, CA, and HDR, headquartered in Omaha, NE., have entered into a joint-venture agreement to design and deliver the Terminal Modernization Program that will transform Pittsburgh International Airport for a modern travel experience. The joint venture team has formed an association with luis vidal + architects, headquartered in Madrid, Spain, to develop the architectural design vision for the new terminal.

A/E Design Team and Program Management Team Sub-Consultants Announced

The list of sub-consultants who are part of the contracts with the Design Team (Gensler + HDR in association with luis vidal + architects) and the Program Management Team (Jacobs Project Management) was released by ACAA.
