The $1.57 billion Terminal Modernization Program (TMP) at Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) has reached its halfway point and officials are treating the moment as an opportunity to celebrate.

Leaders at the Allegheny County Airport Authority (ACAA), which manages PIT, and Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald led members of the media on a walkthrough tour of the ongoing construction site on Monday after driving personal vehicles up a ramp to the future departures drop-off curb of the new terminal.
