Pittsburgh International Airport will receive $5.3 million more in federal funding to help pay for its new terminal under construction, according to a news release from the state’s Congressional delegation. The funds are coming from the Biden administration’s Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, which along with the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, is providing billions of dollars to replace or build airport terminals, improve airport infrastructure and traffic facilities.

The grant is in addition to a $20 million grant the Allegheny County Airport Authority was awarded in July 2022 from the Airport Terminal Program and a total of $123.7 million in federal funding to help Pittsburgh International Airport with its big terminal modernization project.
